where to you go? We were talking about that last night. My kids have never gone. Hell until today they never lived where it would snow until tonight. 10 year old was using a broom to gather up enough snow off the back porch to make a snowball.

The Boone/Banner Elk, NC area has good spots- Sugar, Beech. Sugar has more beginner areas and longer runs for intermediates. Each has their pros and cons. There are a few other smaller venues I have not tried. Considering one in Maggie Valley which is closer but sort of small. This is not western skiing, but it is fun with the right conditions.
I could be working the honey do list instead, but we'll see how it plays out.
